This one’s for the lovers of big, dry, grown-up flavours. We’ve taken our Heaps Good Gin and rested it in ex-Oloroso sherry barrels, which are known for adding depth without sweetness. The result is a bold, savoury barrel-aged gin that still tastes unmistakably like gin - just with a bit more edge.

Serve neat or over a large cube, or in a spirit-forward G&T with minimal garnish.

Flavour Profile

Nutty, dry and packed with character, this gin opens with toasted almond, dried fig and citrus peel. On the palate you’ll find roasted nuts, gentle oak and warming spice, finishing long, dry and slightly savoury with lingering citrus oils.

Like all our Barrel Aged Gins to date, we've used our flagship Heaps Good Gin as the base, which is an Australian contemporary style gin. It's juniper-forward, with a bright citrus character that takes on new life when aged in the barrel.
