Quandong Martini

Sometimes I have flashes of brilliance and this is one of them (if I do say so myself).

Bit tart, bit sweet, kinda dessert-y but still feels like a proper drink. One of those ones you make “just to try” and then suddenly you’re making another.

 

Quandong Martini Recipe

You'll need:

  • 50ml Native Pink Gin
  • 15ml triple sec
  • 15ml lemon juice
  • 1 heaped tsp quandong jam
  • Ice
  • Dehydrated lime + edible flower (if you’re feeling fancy)

How to make it:

  • Everything into a shaker with plenty of ice.
  • Shake till it’s properly cold.
  • Double strain into a chilled glass.
  • Garnish if you want. Done.

 

Why It Works

Quandong’s doing most of the heavy lifting - tart, slightly sweet, bit different. Citrus lifts it, gin keeps it sharp.
