Sometimes I have flashes of brilliance and this is one of them (if I do say so myself).
Bit tart, bit sweet, kinda dessert-y but still feels like a proper drink. One of those ones you make “just to try” and then suddenly you’re making another.
Quandong Martini Recipe
You'll need:
- 50ml Native Pink Gin
- 15ml triple sec
- 15ml lemon juice
- 1 heaped tsp quandong jam
- Ice
- Dehydrated lime + edible flower (if you’re feeling fancy)
How to make it:
- Everything into a shaker with plenty of ice.
- Shake till it’s properly cold.
- Double strain into a chilled glass.
- Garnish if you want. Done.
Why It Works
Quandong’s doing most of the heavy lifting - tart, slightly sweet, bit different. Citrus lifts it, gin keeps it sharp.
