Cherry Collins

Using up the last of cherry season? Same.

This one’s super simple, super refreshing, and goes down very easily on a hot day. Basically a classic Collins… but better.

 

Cherry Collins Recipe

You'll need:

  • 60ml Native Pink Gin
  • 3 cherries (halved, stones out)
  • 20ml fresh lemon juice
  • 20ml sugar syrup (1:1)
  • Ice
  • Soda water

How to make it:

  • Chuck cherries in a shaker and muddle them up.
  • Add gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup.
  • Add ice and shake till cold.
  • Strain into a tall glass over ice.
  • Top with soda.
  • Garnish with a few cherry slices.

 

Why It Works

Native Pink Gin already leans citrusy and a little tart, so when you throw fresh cherries in there it just clicks. Bit of sweetness, bit of zing, super refreshing.
