
How It All Started
Heaps Good Spirits began in 2021, when we decided to turn a little lockdown hobby into something way more fun (and way more boozy). We wanted to create great-tasting gin that genuinely reflected South Australia.
So we got stuck into our first gins - Heaps Good Gin and Native Pink Gin - packed with local botanicals and proper flavour. No fake stuff. No shortcuts. Just the good gear, made the old-fashioned way (in a garage, obviously). Turns out, people liked it. So we kept making it - bottling, labelling and boxing it all by hand in small batches at home.

A Growing Line-Up
After a couple of gins under our belt, we started to play around. First came Ginspresso (our dangerously sippable coffee gin liqueur), then Heaps Good Cello - our zesty take on limoncello, but gin-ified. And now? We’ve got a whole colourful crew of gins and liqueurs that are big on flavour and even bigger on fun.
We also launched our Spirit of SA series to show some love to our favourite spots around the state - Victor Harbor, the Adelaide Hills, and now the otherworldly Blue Lake in Mount Gambier. It's our way of bottling up a little piece of SA.

Scaling Up
By the end of 2023, our tiny setup just wasn’t cutting it anymore. With more and more bottle shops across Adelaide jumping on board, we needed more space (and fewer injuries from stacking boxes in the lounge room). So, we got ourselves a warehouse. Fancy, right?
It means we can make more gin, dream up more liqueurs, and get them out to you faster, all while keeping things hands-on and heaps good.

Our Hahndorf Tasting Room
The latest and greatest chapter? We opened our very own tasting room in Hahndorf! It’s a cosy little spot where you can sip your way through the range, try a cocktail or two, and stock up on your favourites - all while soaking up those Hills vibes..
