This is better than any espresso martini you've ever bought at a bar, and best of all you can enjoy it in the comfort of your own home! It takes the original Ginspresso Martini recipe up a notch with our utterly moreish Salted Caramel Ginspresso variation.
It’s smooth, indulgent and perfectly layered - real espresso up front, buttery caramel through the middle, and a gentle salty finish that keeps it from feeling too heavy.
Salted Caramel Ginspresso Martini Recipe
You'll need:
- 45 ml Salted Caramel Ginspresso
- 30 ml vodka (or plain gin)
- 30 ml fresh espresso shot
- Crushed ice
- Small pinch of salt
- Salted caramel Tim-Tam
- Coffee beans (for garnish)
How to make it:
- Add the Salted Caramel Ginspresso, vodka, freshly brewed espresso and a small dash of salt to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Shake hard until well chilled and a thick layer of foam forms.
- Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
- Garnish with coffee beans and a Tim-Tam on the rim of glass or the side. Serve immediately.
Why It Works
The salt doesn’t make the drink salty. It enhances the caramel and coffee flavours, rounding out the sweetness and adding depth. It’s the same reason salted caramel works so well in desserts, and it translates beautifully into this martini.
