If a Negroni and a sour had a baby… this is it..
Looks smooth and harmless… but it’s still got that proper Negroni backbone underneath. Just softened out with citrus and foam so it goes down a bit easier than it probably should.
Negroni Sour Recipe
You'll need:
- 30ml Heaps Good Gin
- 30ml sweet vermouth
- 30ml amaro
- 20ml lemon juice
- 10ml sugar syrup (or a couple drops stevia)
- 6 drops Wonderfoam (or egg white/aquafaba)
- Ice
How to make it:
- Add everything to a shaker (no ice yet).
- Dry shake for ~20 seconds to build the foam.
- Add ice and shake again till cold.
- Strain into a sour glass.
- Sip and pretend you’re a bartender.
Why It Works
Bitterness from the vermouth and amaro, citrus from the lemon, sweetness to balance, then that foam smooths it all out. It’s a Negroni… but a little more approachable.
